On March 21st, the Cincinnati Bengals will host journeyman veteran guard Lucas Patrick. Patrick has played in the NFL primarily for the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears. After going undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft, Patrick signed with the Packers and spent most of his early years as a backup and special teams contributor. Over time, he earned a starting role with the Chicago Bears. In recent years, Patrick has been in a backup role with the Green Bay Packers, and in the games he has started over the last two years, he has yet to give up a single sack.
Lucas would be a great addition if he is a depth piece, but the Bengals should still look to add a starting guard before the NFL Draft.
